What is Kidz Dance?
Kidz Dance is a program that uses dance and movement to motivate and engage students to develop new skills and have fun in a group setting. This will include stretching, dancing games and learning a dance routine.
Benefits of Kidz Dance
Children will have the opportunity to build confidence and social skills, including recognising emotions, listening & following instructions, taking turns and respecting personal space. Dance class also provides many physical benefits such as building strength, coordination, posture and balance.
When does it commence?
The group commences at the beginning of each Term and runs weekly on Mondays from 4:00-5:00pm in the Skillz4me Therapy Room (The Fitness Room) at the CBC indoor centre. It is facilitated by the Alecia Picken, owner of AP Performers.
What is the cost to attend?
The cost for the 9 sessions is $400 per term. The cost of this group can be claimed using plan or self- managed NDIS funding.
How many positions are available?
The dance group has limited spaces. Please note an expression of interest does not confirm you will have a position.
