Skillz4me is a not for profit All Abilities Centre that offers opportunities to children with a disability or developmental delay to learn vital social skills in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.
Skillz4me Sports sessions are at no cost to families. We are passionate about helping families while the program is made possible through donations, volunteers and the support of the community.
Whether you help through donations, volunteering your time, or raising awareness, thank you. We couldn't maintain our programs and accomplish our goals without your help.
Skillz4me promotes a holistic approach by welcoming siblings, parents and grandparents to be involved in all programs at Skillz4me. It really is a place for the whole family!
Skillz4me programs are unique in that occupational therapists, social workers, early childhood teachers, support workers and professional coaches all work alongside each other to assist families.
Skillz4me started in 2016 when Sarah & Jason, the parents of two children with a disability, were unable to find any inclusive programs to support their needs. They decided to fill that gap and created a sports program to bring other families together in the local area. The first session was February 9th 2016.
Skillz4me is a non profit organisation and registered charity. We rely on fundraising, donations and sponsors for our survival. Without this help and our incredible volunteers, our centre and programs could not operate.
