Our Purpose

Skillz4me is a not-for-profit organisation that provides programs, events & support for children with a disability and their families.

Our Mission

To Support children with a disability, participate in social skills programs that aims to improve their overall development in an inclusive, safe and non-judgemental environment including a free weekly sports program.

To Support Parents/carers and siblings through the challenges of raising a child with a disability. Offering services relating to NDIS information, School advocacy, diagnosis support and mental health support.

Our Vision

To enhance the lives and wellbeing of families faced with the challenges of raising a child with a disability.

We aim to:

• reduce isolation
• improve mental health
• decrease prevalence of family breakdown
• improve family relationships
• and ensure each child has the opportunity to reach their potential

Governance

Skillz4me Inc. is a Not-for-Profit organisation and registered charity. The Board of three directors operates with a formal constitution that outlines membership, operating procedures and responsibilities between the board and staff. The Skillz4me board and staff are also supported by an Independent Advisory Group. 

In accordance with its constitution, directors of Skillz4me and members of the independent advisory group hold their position in an honorary capacity and receive no remuneration. They are all extremely passionate about supporting families who have a member with a disability.

Financial Management

Skillz4me Inc. accounts and finances are audited by Spectrum Financial.
