What is Social Skills: Art & Sensory class?

Social Skills Art & Sensory class is a mixture of activities that target the sensory seekers. The tasks include painting, drawing, squishing, squeezing, messy play and making something unique! Our participants have fun creating art using different sensory mediums.

Benefits of Art & Sensory

Children will have the opportunity to learn valuable social skills such as teamwork, peer interactions and following directions in a group. In addition, they will enhance their fine motor skills and overall development.

What does a session involve?

Art & Sensory class will be catered for all children who have a disability. There will be structured activities that focus on individual goals. The sessions are interactive and fun.

When does it commence?

The next group will commence at the beginning of each school Term and run weekly for 9 weeks on Mondays from 4:00-5:00pm in the Skillz4me Therapy Room (The Loft) at the centre.

What is the cost to attend?

The cost for the 9 sessions is $450 per term. The cost of this group can be claimed using plan or self-managed NDIS funding.

How many positions are available?

The Art & Sensory program has limited spaces. Please note an expression of interest does not confirm you will have a position.
